The Nvidia MMS4X50-NM is an 800GBase-FR8 OSFP optical transceiver module designed for high-speed data communication over single-mode fiber (SMF). Utilizing PAM4 modulation, it supports 2x 400G FR4 channels at a wavelength of 1310nm, with a transmission reach of up to 2 kilometers. The transceiver features Dual Duplex LC/UPC connectors and Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics and performance monitoring. It is optimized for use with InfiniBand NDR and Ethernet, making it ideal for data centers and high-performance networking environments that require long-range, reliable, and efficient connectivity for advanced computing workloads and high-bandwidth applications.
