1.6T OSFP-XD DR8 optical transceiver, housed in an OSFP-XD package, is designed
to enable 1.6T Ethernet connections over distances of up to 500 meters using
single-mode fiber. It boasts 16 independent electrical input/output channels,
each operating at 106.25Gbps, and 8 independent optical input/output channels,
each operating at 212.5Gbps. The transceiver includes two transmitter/receiver
units, with the transmitter unit employing a cooled 1310nm EML laser. Its
electrical interface adheres to the 2*800GAUI-8 standard as defined by IEEE
P802.3df. The DSP leverages the latest 5nm process technology, bringing typical
power consumption down to 22W.
